After a disappointing 5-2 loss in Round 12 against Former Glory, Havoc were on the lookout for a bounce back result against Jaguars last Tuesday night in cold conditions. The Reds needed a win to retain 2nd place in the division and maintain a 1-point difference with 1st-placed Kipsta FC ahead of their clash in Round 15.
Match Summary
The first half set the groundwork for a extremely one-sided match. Four goals from J. Winn early in the game gave Havoc a strong lead. Jaguars found it difficult to break forward from their defence and were often countered by the Oakleigh. Goals from G. Bezas and A. Ratnagandhi ensured a 9-0 lead at half-time.
Havoc's dominance continued in the second half with J. Henderson, J. Tamvakis and D. Kim adding more goals. The completion of G. Bezas' double hat-trick and an unfortunate Jaguars own goal completed a 17-goal rout as Havoc took all three points in convincing fashion.
